My bike was covered in flies when I arrived at Le Mans last year so I washed it there - using mineral water!

Don't want it looking scruffy when I get there, well besides 300 miles of flies, stonechips etc.

Will be taking some cleaning kit while there, although not the monumental amount I took in the Leon last year

All clean and ready for the run down there.... Car will leave Le Mans in true LM format.... filthy, dusty, flies, brake dust and will stay like it for a week or so after!

I'll be washing mine there. Bought a collapsible bucket just for the job but it might also come in handy to douse my co-pilot if he gets a bit too niffy

Currently resting in wait in the garage, washed and clean.

Will be waxed on Wednesday just before we set off down the M6.

We did clean the Chim before we left Houx last year but only due to the fact we were carrying on through France and Andorra rather than just coming home. Dont usually bother.

All clean & polished!
The usual habit is to then wash it on arrival, with an ice cold beer (or two) in hand!

The micra may well hit the carwash tomorrow morning if we have time. Need it to be clean so we can apply the PH stickers

Cool, where did you get that from, after trying to find space to squeeze a bucket in I had to give up yesterday!

Ben you know the race is on Saturday/Sunday don't you? Just hoping you get there in time in the Micra!

Now Now - we will get there eventually. That's why we are now setting off a day earlier

Got a few more stickers on the car so we won't be travelling incognito

The extra 24 hours will make the difference, I agree. Hope to see you and the Micra soon. Mind you where I'm stopping I think I'm sans PHers!

All the best

Polished most of mine last night, won't bother with the wheels as they will be covered in brake dust by the time we get there.

I use the car wash on the road into Arnage which for a few euros is brilliant, I have the Autoglym and foldup bucket in the boot already
