Quick question, does anyone have a rough idea of how much it may cost to have 4 spinners re-chromed?

I suppose it may depend on how battered they are, or irreplaceable

They're off my Lagonda and in reasonable condition, not battered and just a few spots of surface rust. I'm just trying to get an idea if it will be hundreds or less.

I had my E-type's Borranis completely redone by Phil Hallewell (including some broken spokes) a while back and the spinners were rechromed as part of that exercise - I paid a rather large sum all in, so I cannot recall what the rechroming cost was a proportion of that, but a call to Phil might give you a definitive answer. The finish was superb BTW.

Thanks, it's just the 4 spinners I'm interested in. Not the wheels.

Yup but Phil should be able to give you a sense of the cost.

I reckon Roy The Chrome, who I use for boat and car stuff, would charge about £100 for 4 spinners.

London and Brighton Plating company in Brighton do stuff for the historic car world, not too far from you I think.
