Griff electrical issues

Help needed, without going into details school boy error while working on Griff forget to connect earth strap to body , when I saw smoke coming from rear wheels melted flexi steel braided brake hoses , now with auto electrician few relays damaged alarm u/s. Gave him Steve Heaths Bible. To help he's asking what relays are located. Behind dashboard, radio housing. Mines a 92 4.3. Any thoughts.

Hi. I have a 1996 500. The only relays behind the dash are. the flasher and the hazard relay on mine. You can see them mounted on a block if you remove the glovebox and look across the bulkhead towards the middle of the car. You dont say what the problem is subsequent to the smoke. Fule pump and ECU relays are loose on the loom down by the battery. usually thrown on top. Other relays for cooling fans etc are fusebox mounted. there is one other relay behind the radio for the central door locking.
