Front - end respray...

It's time to think about a front end respray on my car, no damage just stonechips.

I am worried about colour matching so can anyone recommend a spray shop in or around Somerset. I'm near Yeovil but obviously expect to travel a bit unless I am extremely lucky.

Can’t recommend anyone but I had mine done about 18 months ago up in Surrey by a little independent. He matched the Porsche Iris blue colour perfectly just from the colour code. You couldn’t tell the difference and I was very pleased.

I wouldn’t worry about the match.

Interesting.

I'm currently sorting a chassis refurb and would also like to get rid of the front end stone chips.
The initial cost is spiralling, would you be able to give a guide price for the paint job with an indi rather than the obvious proven outlets.

It was £450 including the paint. He prepared and repainted the front wings, front valance and bonnet

I don't like wasting peoples time but now I can approach some local indies when I research recommended people.

I travelled to Sportmotive in Stoke on Trent to get the 7” lights, new pods and a front respray. Great service including railway station pick-up. I know it’s a long way but it was a quality job.

7” lamps look great and work great.
