Thinking about getting a practical car that will currently NOT go on track (have a 182 I am using to get into track days) but I like the idea of getting something I could take on the track if I ever wanted to, or got so into it that I wanted to upgrade from the 182. Current thoughts are:


Megane R26
Megane 250/265/275
E46 M3 Manual - less practical and I assume more expensive to look after
Clio 200 (not sure I really want another spinach)

List hasnt got mucb further than this

My list would be Megane RS250/265 as it will do being a daily with ease & the same goes for the track work should you decide to use it for that.

or & this is the way I went get yourself a last of the line Focus ST-2 (not the 3 because it only has four seats) mine was brilliant better at the day to day than the Megane because it was a little less sharp & not as focused as the Megane but still good fun on the track:
