Front indicator failure - 2006 V8 Vantage

Hi all,

My front left indicator has been showing an intermittent fault (bulb Failure) for about 12 months but has now failed totally.
Has anybody on here split these headlight units & had any success in rectifying what I imagine is a LED fault?
Any help much appreciated.

Thanks guys, I have read about splitting the unit by heating up & softening the glue but not by anyone on this forum.
when I get it sorted I will post results.
