All,

I am relatively inexperienced with BMW, but am in the process of buying a G11. The car was specced with remote parking and the display key.

When I asked for the display key, the dealer said it did not have one however, the spec sheet shows it was supplied with one. As an approved car, should they supply the key? I did say it was a bit odd that I cannot use the remote parking function.

Thanks in advance,
Rog

Would query where that key has gone - can’t even having missing keys

One of the Approved Used checks is for correct number of keys. So that alone should be reason to supply you the necessary key.
But they also need to sell the car with all features working so they need to address the parking option and so there’s another reason for this key wink

I think it’s a case of a less than brilliant sales executive not understanding the spec of the car. Go over his or head if necessary.

Thanks guys. All valid points, that will be taken up with the dealership. I was just keen to have the self parking working, but there is an overriding security issue if there is a missing key that I had not even considered.

Thank again
