Looks like we may be hosting my mother in law during a self-isolation period. We have a bedroom/en-suite that we'd quite like to shove a TV in to keep her occupied. Haven't bought one for a while. No arial or dish connection. We do have pretty good broadband. Want freeview channels and catchup . Ideally Netflix etc.

Budget couple of hundred max.

Any suggestions?

If broadband is fine then just the cheapest TV you can find of the required size (Gumtree?) and a Firestick (especially if you or she has Amazon Prime account already) or something like an Apple TV interface if she has an iPad already? Neither cost much.

I hope your mother in law is OK.

Models keep changing, a couple of yrs ago we purchased a 32" Panasonic. Really pleased with the WiFi stuff, supports amazon prime too.
