Yes factory, they also made an MG version I believe

Used to see loads of those car-vans over in Ireland. I think it was something to do with it being favourable on tax.

They did. As another poster said, very big in the Irish market where there was a significant tax break for CDVs. The van versions of the Pug 205, the VW Polo breadvan and the Mk 2/3 Golf were very popular over there

I've also seen (on PH probably) about Sierra vans, I think they were Irish as well.

"Car derived van" I think was the wording on the log-book a friend of mine had a rather nice clean 2 dr MK2 Golf 1.6D back in the day that he converted to a car in a few hrs inc removing the small internal spot welded panels where the windows at to be and a GTi interior , only ever witnessed one of these Rovers year ago and thought it odd as never previously

I think that MG Rover promised a nitrous version of the XPower SV, but such a thing was never built

That's about 5,500 miles per year. Google says the national average in 2015 was 7,900. if it had done that average all its life it should be on about 134k. so yes, taking it all into account given the age on it, it is low mileage
