As I understand it, Apple Car Care Ltd (wholly owned by AML) operate the warranty side; and Allianz are contracted by ACC to operate the breakdown service.

My silly mistake, I meant AML Car Care, their name is on the warranty documents! Apologies.

At the bottom of my Timeless Warranty 'certificate', it states, "Aston Martin Extended Warranty is a trading name of Care Care Plan Ltd." "Care Care Plan Ltd is authorised and regulated by the FCA".

Their telephone no is, 01274 260141.

Thanks again - I have no cert ...

Car Care Plan Ltd is an independent company.
I was just interested to what happens to the warranty in the event that AML doesn't survive .

Hopefully , this means that if the unthinkable happens , the warranty would still work .

Mine is due now - £2620 for 1 year.
Seriously considering selling the car as this is taking the piss.
I know its an insurance but FFS, at least provide a pot of vaseline.

I suspect the hit you'd take on selling a car at this precise time would be rather larger than the warranty cost - maybe just save the money and don't renew ?

I've decided not to renew mine at the end of this month when it runs out, I just don't feel it worthwhile. The money spent on it goes quite a long way to fixing most problems, so I'm willing to bear that risk - and on average will win without it.

It is (as I discovered recently) an underwritten by an independent company, not AML.

Car Care Plan are the administrators for the warranty along with other manufacturers including Porsche and have never turned any of my claims down.

To be fair I had my last Vantage under warranty for the five years I had it (4-9 years old) and from memory I only claimed for an oil leak, headlight, roof module and a couple of O2 sensors which probably cost less than £4000 compared to the £9000 I spent.

Compare this to my precious Porsche which had a new engine and PCM unit under 5 years old.

Get the car independantly inspected before existing warranty expires just in case anything needs doing under warranty then decide if its worth continuing with Timeless warranty.

It's a luxury warranty for a luxury car and gives an incredibly comprehensive cover in my experience, so it's bound to be expensive for real peace of mind. It's a lot of money, many of us take it with the car from the dealer then don't renew and, if you're going to keep the car for a few years it is unlikely you'll be out of pocket. Possible but unlikely....

Agree with that. My warranty has just run out and I decided against renewing and also taking the car to an Independent for future servicing. Benefits for me are lower pricing for his work and the car coming back and feeling like it has been serviced. He found a fault, made a claim on car care plan and did the work. I was surprised that it didn’t need to be done by a dealer but it was all signed off by the insurers.

By the way, if you are in the SW and decide that you no longer wish to use the franchised dealer, then I highly recommend Will Khoo and his team at AJ Tech.

What he said,
Will is spot on, Him and his team have a great work ethic and passion for what they do.
