This year our total council tax has risen by 4.2%.
We have now five separate functions within the overall tax charge :
Suffolk County Council non - adult Social Care charge.
Adult Social care precept
Police and Crime Commissioner for Suffolk
West Suffolk Council
Bury St Edmunds Town Council

It now appears that the ‘exceptional’ increases for certain sectors have now become permanent and capable of raising their own tax demands to add to the overall Council tax.

Same in Newcastle. When will it get to the point we say no more?

Last year we saw increases for extra police, great. Not seen any increase presence thou, Yeah it takes time to train them but give the current officers overtime.

Our property Band D £1950. Madness

I'm getting sick of the way certain elements are excluded form the maximum allowable rate increase, I really wouldn't mind if we got the service we pay for.
