Sorry if there is already an existing thread in this.

Having got bored with my Tassimo I've purchased a a cafeterie and some coffee from Amazon, I like my coffee reasonably mild (not high strength) and with a sweet after taste.
Anyone recommend a decent coffee blend to try ?

Nescafe Gold Blend sounds right up your street, save on washing up as well.

Panamanian Palo Alto mountain grown arabica.

For cafetière coffee my top tip is chuck away the plunger part and get yourself a small sieve. Brew the coffee in the pot as normal, then just pour it into your cup through the sieve. Much easier, faster and less cleaning than the plunger.

We buy Aldi coffee - it's pretty good actually.

Someone at work ordered some from Amazon - the own brand amazon stuff. Was pretty good too.

Not from here, just using the link.

Call me a peasant, but I just give the plunger a quick rinse when empty the pot in the morning. Occasionally I put it in the dishwasher whole and very rarely I take it apart to clean properly.

Thanks for the suggestions guys (other than Nescafé which of course should only be consumed as a last resort).

I'm using this at the moment but will try the suggestions above, planning to try various and see which I prefer
