Car Wheel Stands
Discussion
Hey guys,
After searching for ways to get my cars high enough in the air for me to get under them and not fear being squished (I find my Halfords style stands to be super wobbly fully extended) I found these. Sadly they are US made so quite a hefty ££ over here, just wondered if anyone knows of a UK/EU alternative.
They basically raise the car by a foot but leaves it on the wheels for extra height and stability.

Any thoughts?

If your car has a lot of suspension travel I suppose they're ok, or if you can jack centrally lifting both wheels at once.
I wouldn't want to lift just one wheel to six inches on my Seven. One twisted chassis later.
How about those ramps that you run up then raise with a thread.

I agree it will take quite a few increments getting it in the air all at once, plus my car is so low I can only jack it so high before it's impossible to get a jack under the other end. I wouldn't want to lift just one wheel to six inches on my Seven. One twisted chassis later.

I did look at ramps but they take up a lot of room under the car and I fear I would be trying to work around them.
Did come across this guide, not sure I would trust it though.

This is the site I bought mine from, I have four of the 12" ones, they work really well and are super light.
