Just put new battery in today and she started instantly after being tucked up since before Christmas. Went for a great drive out in the sun. However noticed that my gauges are misting up on the inside with condensation.
Anyone got any ideas to easily dry these short of removing the dash. To be fair after a 2 hour drive with the lights on they started to dry a bit i guess the heat from the bulbs helped.
Car lives in an unheated garage and I guess the very damp winter hasn't helped.

I bought some seal products dehumidifying bags that i leave on the dash and in front of the clocks they soak up a lot of moisture then you dry them out in the microwave seems to help with my griff clocks which had the same issue amazon i think i got them from .

Thanks for your help.
I will try these as suggested. Got to be easier than dismantling the dash.

TADTS !

dismantling and drying out will be pointless, I suspect they'll only do it again.

On the S Series cars this is accepted as a "feature" smile

I read some where on here that drilling a small hole in the gauge casing and a short squirt of WD40 will help / almost cur the misting.

On my S I have fitted 3 non standard gauges and they do not mist up like the standard gauges do confusedbanghead

Mine mist up after an hour or so driving, heat build up behind the dash from the engine bay I suspect does not help.

Like phillpot and the Bible says...... TADTS

Mine went for it's MOT this morning (passed of course). Tester left the engine running and when I came to take it home some of the gauges were misting up and that was with the car sat on the vehicle lift.

I'm not bothered

Not brave enough to ride with the roof off but had the windows open.
When it's in the garage overwintering and SORN is the only time the Targa is on..

cool

This. All my TVRs went through the steaming up & clearing process. It's a feature
