VW GOLF MK7 - Driver Seat level problems

I have just bought a new VW GOLF MK7 1.5TSI Match which has the standard seats.
I have done about 1500 miles and in that time I have never been able to really get comfortable.
Anyway, today (in self isolation) I just put a spirit level over the drivers seat and it appears to be slopping towards the drivers door. It looks to be about 4mm off.
I wonder whether this is normal? I have just checked my girlfriend's car which appears to be bang on level!
