I'd imagine this is going to be a rather popular questioning in the coming weeks and it's been rather a long time since i purchased any IT equipment.

I have an extremely aging laptop at home that functions acceptable when completing single tasks (Office 365) but struggles with multiple programs at once and routinely turns itself off at a moments notice. I've been meaning to replace it for a while but never quite got there, kind of wish i had now!.

No need for modern gaming at all, there's pad's and consoles downstairs for that. No need for portability or touch screen etc etc. This is purely a working machine, Office 365, online programs etc.

What are the options for something that's going to work with little hassle but not break the bank? Refurbished? Where does one get that these days? Amazon? Ebuyer?

Cheers folks!

I picked up one of these recently, have to say it's a great little bit of kit. Completely silent too, which is odd after years of being used to a fan humming away...The case is metal and is the heatsink.
