Porsche factory’s closing today !

Car in OPC today needing a replacement part and been told that the Porsche factory’s are closing today and they don’t know when the part will be available !? So if you have a car on order and not built it could be sometime before you see it? Will the new GTSs ever be delivered? Does that make the delivered GT4 and Spyder’s more sort after???

They all closed over the weekend, on Sat 21st.

Cars will be delivered, there'll just be a delay of several weeks. No-one's buying luxury goods at this point in time so I can't see the demand for sports cars doing anything other than reducing.

Fully agree, with swathes of unemployment looming in almost all industry sectors the premium car market will of course take a tanking but its the very very least of my concerns.

The way some people have been treated by some Porsche dealerships in the past this down turn is going to bite them on the arse good and proper when they reopen, the dealers will be queuing up to sell the next latest and greatest GT cars in the coming years, how the world changed in 3 months, cant wait ha ha

I'm not so sure. The rich will still be rich once we get to the other side. I think it'll be those at the lower end of the financial scale that will suffer the most, unfortunately.

The + side is fuel has come down so can afford to go the long way round to the shop, takes me 2 hours, but as said this is a truly sad time in are history
