On your device open Whatsapp, go to Settings>Chats>Chat Backup and it will show you the last backup of chats to iCloud on there. To the best of my knowledge there is no other way of viewing the backed up data in iCloud.

What happened to your other thread?

What happened to your other thread?

It shows WHEN it was last backed up, I want to view the back up & see whats in there, see if the message I accidentally deleted on my phone is there.

Deleted the other thread as I managed to work out what happened!

The backup is for restoring across devices, like I say to the best of my knowledge you can't view the actual backup data without some spurious looking third party tools.
