Working on a gen 3.5. Hyundai Coupe 2l. It had an issue where the front left caliper was seizing up to the point it was undriveable.
Replaced the piston, square profile seal and dust seal. Cleaned up everything and applied grease where needed etc, bled the system. The caliper moves freely now, and its overall better, but after some driving for 10 minutes or so under normal braking, the front left disc is always hotter than the right.
Both make spit sizzle but its definitely hotter on the left side. Any idea why? I can only thing maybe the disc itself is warped or the brake line is breaking down.

Agree the disc may be warped or the caliper is still sticking.

If it's hotter, there's friction somewhere.

A sliding caliper? If its not sliding smoothly then it'll drag.

I wouldn't expect them to get that hot in ten minutes of normal driving. Maybe you have something holding pressure in the brake line.
