Worldwide baby boom in 9 months time?

As we've got a lot of spare time on our hands now, I would imagine a lot of couples are going to entertaining themselves in the old fashioned way.
If we all get at it now, there's going to be lots of babies born at Christmas.

Not here. Got an 11 year old and a 13 year old. Both wanting to stay up later than usual school time, and constantly in the house!

We have a baby, the uncertainty in the world at the moment would put having a baby (or risk of having one) very low on my agenda. Time will tell


One think I was thinking about is people winding each other up on Facebook

A friend of mine joined the police in a nearby town a few years back. He said a ridiculous amount of time was spent dealing with arguments that had started on Facebook and then threats etc had flown. It was one off the reasons why he quit, he recalls going to have to sort out another Facebook argument which got prioritised over something that more traditional policing would have seen as a priority.

There’s gonna be a lot of stressed young mums with too many kids at home, looking for fights

Mrs 111R has a few friends who don't have great relationships. I do wonder what sticking them all together in a house for a few weeks will do! As said above, divorces rates, conception rates and dom violence rates will undoubtedly increase.

I reckon there will be a bunch of first time parents in December, probably fewer repeat parents!

We've got a 15 month old and 3 year old and they are fantastic - but they are plenty for me and my wife.....!

I personally don't think China took it far enough.
We should allow people to have as many children as they like, but only two at a time.
Anyone selfish enough to have a third child (twins et cetera permitting) should have their firstborn put down in front of them.
That would do it.

Why stop there and be so easy going with the twins, parents should have to choose their favourite. What happens if they have triplets or quads, world will be doomed.
