Hi Folks,

I've bought a Givi top case E470 off gumtree and the seller has left one of the keys in the lock when parcelled up and posted.

Unfortunately this has then been snapped off during transit...bummer!! Does anyone have any links or know of anywhere where i can get a spare key cut?

Any help or info greatly appreciated as i definitely think it's wise to get a spare sorted before long.

Cheers.

There should be a three digit code on the barrel, it's usually a case of calling a supplier up and giving them the code, then getting it posted out.

According to the government, key workers are still able to travel to work so there should be no delays.

Thankyou very much I'm here all week.

If you can get the remains of the key out (magnet), then you should be able to pick it fairly easily.

Yes i managed to get the key out and have the numbers from both the key and barrel. Don't really want to replace the barrel as all i really need is the one key.

Ring Givi UK, they should be able to post a spare key out all being well.

If you type “givi key” into the “popular auction site” there’s people who will send you a key. I’ve used these for a top box key and it was all good.
