I'm sure there's a load of folks in the same position but i've never been in this situation before so wondered if anyone has any information/experience in getting a refund for tickets bought and not being able to make the rescheduled date for the gig. Bought tickets for Elbow at o2 manchester April 1st, obviously not going ahead and have rescheduled for September but we can't make the new date. How likely is it I'll be able to get anything back ? (bought via Ticketmaster). Cheers.

I should like to think you'll get your money back otherwise Ticketmaster can join the ranks of Richard Branson and Mike Ashley as being shysters during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Ticket master will do a full refund in that scenario. Check their TCs. I have tickets for GnR at Tottenham at end of May, really can't see it going ahead and I hope it is pulled because we can't go anyway. All our child care options are isolating until mid June.

Thanks for the replies. I have been on their site and it is quite straight forward if an event is cancelled then money is automatically refunded to the payment card. However, if the event is rescheduled then the ticket is valid for that new date. They do not seem to be concerned about whether you can make that date or not with no obvious information for that scenario. Personally, in the current climate, I can't really see events going ahead even in September (which is the rescheduled date) until that anti virus is available, lets hope it's sooner than later. Cheers.
