Get out with your binoculars or spotting scope .The bright light to west in the night sky is Venus . lack of pollution. Means it is shining brightly .
Best sighting would have been 24 March , but still an impressive sight

and the ISS pass last night past venus was nice.

If anyone is interested, look west at 20:28 tonight, sets east at 20:31.

Makes a great photo if you have long exposure/night mode on phone/camera.

Thanks for the heads up smile

Venus is normally pretty bright anyway, even here in polluted ol' London town, so must be crazy bright now with the big drop in pollution levels.

First time I used that app to see the ISS it was pretty amazing.
I couldn’t make myself imagine that there were people in the thing doing 17,000 mph or whatever it is.

You're standing on a thing doing 66,000 mph. It's all relative.

The number of satellites visible last night was unreal! I live in the sticks so get a good view anyway, but last night was exceptional.
