How is everyone keeping fit? I am using my 1 exercise time to get out running. Doing 4-8k, a day at different paces. On the plus site the OH has decided to join me too and it's a good way of motivation. At least to get some fresh air.

The downside, I hate running!

Alternating daily between running and the bike (turbo set up so the bike action an continue indoors if required).

Additional 30 mins indoor core strength routine working on hip / glute strength and balance every 2-3 days.

Currently recovering from a running injury, so will gradually change the balance in favour of running as I recover - unless we go into full lockdown, in which case it'll be indoors on the bike

Cycling here too, done over 60 miles in three days so far, having done virtually nothing since christmas due to the horrific weather.

I've been alternating running 10K and doing circuits in the garden. The Coronavirus situation is really helping me lose weight as i'm not snacking at all which used to kill any attempt to get fit. So far i've lost 5kg in about 1 and a half weeks.

I luckily started Couch to 5K just before Xmas and finished it a few weeks back, now I'm doing 3x runs a week - a 5k 'tempo' run (last one was a PB 5K best of 25:39), some hill repeats (that was today's Government sanctioned exercise...) and a longer, slower run. Planning on an 8k run on Saturday.

Also cycling, the reason I started running was to increase my fitness for MTB, so I'll be out on my £5000 full suspension MTB pootling fown the towpath laugh

Also have a gravel bike so will use that too, but I need to be out on the MTB to get my left pinky back to strength - fell on it 2 months ago and did something to the tendons, it's OK gripping the bars but need to use the MTB more to get the strength back.

Run, bike turbotrainer, garden circuits and calisthenics/weights/maces/sandbags.

I need to rig up a heavy bag for striking practice.

I’ve been taking the dog out daily for around an hour. I’m lucky that I have a gate in my back garden that leads straight into the Chiltern’s

Also I’ve bought a home workout kit to do some other exercises:-

I’ll go batst crazy if they stop us leaving the house for exercise

One cycle ride per day so far. About 20miles each time. Enjoying the quiet roads, which are getting busier again by the day.

Cycling is simply not enough on its own though is it.

No reason why it can't be, a good daily bike ride is still much more exercise than a lot of the population do even in normal times, and if it's what you enjoy, then crack on with it.

I wonder if a long with the increase in WFH after all of this, people will also keep doing a bit of exercise - it seems like more people are out doing things, perhaps because they are not spending so much time commuting?

Maybe I am being optimistic!

Probably walking around 10k a day, then with a hour on Zwift, followed by an evening workout of bodyweight exercises and my barbell.
