Whatever you think of the war in Iraq, it does you good to see Saddam being publically called to task about the sickening attrocities committed by his regieme. He's a truly wicked and evil man who will get justice from his own people. That, at least, gets my vote.

The preliminary hearing was held quite a while ago now in Victory Palace on Camp Liberty, BIAP. He is still currently being held within the BIAP perimeter (can't divulge where exactly for obvious reasons) but he is due to be tried in the next few months. By the Iraqi people.

Not just him though, Terek Aziz and a whole host of other dubious characters are due to be tried around the same time.

Be interesting to see what sentence they pass when they find him guilty.

He's on the news.... try CNN or one of the others which rotate every 15 mins. Quite interesting really. But good to see Iraqi's doing the investigation, prosecution and defence (I think!). Let Iraq have the pride of bringing this man (is he a man?) to justice....

By god they need it....
