Front PDC for older V8V's
Discussion
Does anyone know whether the older V8 Vantage (eg 2008) is capable of front PDC? Mine only has rear PDC, but I'm upgrading the front bumper to the newer V12/V8S style, so it has the holes for the front PDC sensors.
For example, does the module in my 2008 accept front PDC sensor input, so that if I bought the wiring harness and sensors, I’d now have front sensor capability as well? In other words, it always had the capability, but AML decided to only install the rear sensors back in 2008, then add them to later years.
Any other tips would be much appreciated! For example, where the PDC module's located, if it needs any reprogramming, if there's already a front wiring harness and where it is, which sensor and wiring harness part no's, etc!

Try calling James at Aston Installations. Very friendly and I'm guessing, less busy than usual at the moment.... They are experts in all things electrical on Astons.

Riddochg, you hit the nail on the head, James is the go-to guy for the Aston community on such questions, and consistently remarkably helpful and gracious with his time. 01684 276752
In fact, I've already posed the question to him. So far, in his experience, the PDC controller is of only one type, so it will *likely* run both front + rear sensors. Also, Vantages often include all the cables already by default, although I haven't confirmed this on my car (I'm not sure where or what to look for, which is in part why I started this thread!). Of course sensors will need to be purchased.
Thankfully, James' also looking into this further, I'll report back here anything he/we might. But if anyone else can add from their experience/knowledge, that would be much appreciated
