I’ve just put my car off the road due to the recent global events, it’s stored in a garage/lockup away from my house and doesn’t have a power supply. I’ve used a waterproof solar trickle charger to keep battery topped up but after two failures of the said trickle chargers, I decided to remove battery from car as I won’t be using it until the lockdown is relaxed. My concern with this is, when I replace (the same) battery will car start up and drive ok without setting off warning lights/limp home mode, etc, basically throwing a wobbly requiring a visit to an OPC to reset ECU ? btw It’s not covered by an OPC warranty. Thanks in advance

You'll likely get an error message about the PSM - just go for a drive and it will go away.
