My Start/ Stop function hardly ever works, it used to work every day I drove it but over the last 3 months it has never worked, am I doing something wrong, it’s a base 981, 2014 model.
Many Thanks...

Provided the defeat button is not pressed, the car will work out when it wants to do start stop. This will be based on Temps, engine oil and water and CAT, also based on battery charge to drive the starter motor.

So maybe you’ll need a long drive at some post in the future to get every thing up to temp and charge and it will kick in again.
Or there could be another problem… but I’d try the long drive first whenever we are allowed.

Do you ever see "low battery" on the dash display before starting?

The algorithm seems quite protective of the battery, so if battery is not in tip top shape it doesn’t tend to activate the stop very much, certainly if you are not doing long journeys it will not activate much this time of year. This is a good thing, you don’t want the battery running down unnecessarily.

Do you always drive it in Sport mode? Stop start doesn't work in that mode.
