I'd suggest it's a Triumph Southern Cross of about 1935

I'm fairly sure that is a Triumph Southern Cross sports cars of the mid-1930s.

I used to frequent, on a lunchtime, a pub called The Queen's Arms in the Shieldfield suburb of Newcastle as a day release student back in the 80's. A Triumph Southern Cross was regularly parked outside and inside was it's owner......non other than one Brian Johnson of AC/DC, bonny lad!
