Decided it would be a good idea to bring the Cerbera out of storage now I have a spot of time on my hands!

Popped the battery charger on and it fired straight up to my surprise, little lumpy at first but after a little while once it got up temp it seemed to settle down.

Anyway I need a little help, I’ve noticed that both windows are now very slow to go up and down, tried lubricant down the seals which made a little improvement but not much. Seals look original, would it be worth replacing the seals and replacing the multi block in each door? What voltage should I get at the motor when operated?
The pins in the blocks look a little green, so may of got wet at some point.

Also if I do replace the seals how many meters will I need and does anyone know where I can buy the mushroom which fit on the scuttle planned to support the bonnet?

Cheers

I would also like to remove the drivers and passenger seats to be able to give the inside a nice clean.

But before I do could someone kindly confirm the size, strength type of these nuts and bolts and would it be worth replacing these for stainless steel?

The bolts, nuts and washers don't look in the best shape, one looks like its taken a wack as its bent slightly, would anyone know where I can purchase new ones from?

Sorry for all the questions, if all goes well I might even get to take it out in the summer smile

https://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-u... - Door Seal for all but the earliest Cerberas. 4m per door as advertised by TVR Parts.

https://tvr-parts.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tvr-u... - Window channel felt.

Worth replacing the door connectors with AMP Superseal waterproof connectors.

Seat bolts are M8. Measure the length of the old ones. You'll need 2 different lengths as the front of the driver's seat is secured through a chassis rail. Rear of the drivers seat and apassenger seat are just through fiberglass. If you replace them with coach bolts with the sides of the heads ground off the bolt can't turn in the seat rail, makes refitting much easier.

They're M8 and various lengths. The longest on mine is 100mm - drivers seat - goes through the chassis tube. The rest vary in length.

You'll get them on ebay: - pack of 10 M8 x 100mm - then cut them to size.

You'll also need a pack of M8 x 35mm penny washers, spring washers + M8 nuts

Can I make a suggestion. Buy a couple of longer ones as well. I bought a range so I could get the right length in so there wasn't much hanging underneath, but the carpet needs compressing by quite a lot. Use the longer bolts then swap one out at a time for the shorter bolts.

Or I guess use long bolts and cut them off?

Thank you, was trying to work out what to use, and that sounds ideal
