Online (cloud) data storage and encryption software

Seeking recommendations for online cloud (personal) data storage please, guess I'm looking for a paid for service for this to be reputable? My data will be encrypted prior to upload but I need recommendations for encryption software also! I'm always suspicious of these things, concerns of 'back doors' written into encryption software for example - so I'm seeking a package that's bulletproof, tried and tested.

Any advice please.

I use Cryptomator which allows encrypted folders on cloud storage. I can access the folder from my phone or any computer. There is no central password/website so if you forget the password its gone...

OK; the plan is to encrypt using Veracrypt (opensource), and I will be making some kind of subscription to 'Microsoft OneDrive' cloud.
