Redundancy - quickest way out

I've been made redundant. I have a 10 week notice period (9 left). Within that period I have 2 weeks holiday.

I want out now. Can I leave and still get my redundancy money?

Depends on the terms, they are offerring. Also how you leave may affect a) how you get taxed. b) more inportant at the current time is how you will be viewed for government payments.

You can negotiate. You can negotiate a shorter notice period. But if you want all your notice paid up and the redundancy then it sounds like you want to have your cake and eat it.

At present, I'd sit tight for 9 more weeks and take my accrued holiday as cash.

You do know you are entitled to "reasonable" paid time off to seek alternative employment too.
