Ctek 5.0 battery charger charging modes

As I won’t be using the car for a while I thought I’d hook up the charger to charge the battery.
Does anyone ever use recon mode that is supposed to move around the acid to prolong the battery life once a year?

Also I have a EFB battery, do I use normal mode or agm ?

I've used recon mode at work plenty of times when customers insisted that they cant afford a new battery. Sometimes it works very well indeed, other times doesnt seem to do much apart from charge.

After further investigation yes my EFB battery should be charged on normal thanks.

Only concern I have now is if it’s safe to use recond mode while my battery is connected to the car. The mode charges at 15.8v which some owners say is a risk to the electrics.
Yes I could disconnect the battery but I don’t want to risk getting an errors come up while the garages are closed.
No mention of it in the instructions.
