Holding a virtual party of 12 families, the elders are mostly in their 40's and 50's/

Can anyone suggest any online multiplayer catchy games worth a bit of competition. Probably they need to be free as I'll never get 12 people to agree to pay out actual cash!

I think the first question is what format are you talking about, is it PC, tablet, phones? Once you've got a common platform then we can probably come up with a few games suggestions.

Any Jackbox game. It's a party game you use your phones for. Its easier if youre all in the room but it can be played remotely.

I can highly recommend them, they're really good games. A lot of laughing.

Yeah I've really enjoyed the Jackbox games, some of the drawing ones have had us in tears at times and they're very simple to grasp. Looks like a great guide to get it working too, as a lot of PC games will involve downloading a client like Steam and you don't really want to have to talk everyone through that.

Houseparty has several games built in to it's video conferencing setup. Not tried it yet though.

Playingcards.io looks good too.

Houseparty is having issues at the moment with data breaches, sadly. They are denying it/wanting evidence but since myself and quite a few folk I know downloaded it over the past week, about 5 have had their Netflix/spotify successfully logged in by people in various countries, Brazil, Russia etc.

Could all be coincidence but it's even in the news, so I'd avoid downloading for the moment. It's Epic that own it so hopefully they get it sorted soon.

A belated thank you for the Jackbox games.

They’ve been a firm favourite in our fortnightly Saturday zoom night. Fibbage and quiplash being firm favourites..

Well recommended!
