Gt3 1st service due. OPC closed
Discussion
As per the title, 1st service is due. However preston and bolton opc have said on the websites they are closed due to corona (someone has said this may be 3 months)
Anyone know If an OPC is open in the North West, and if not any issues with warranty as I may not be able to get a service for some time ?

It might just be the sales side of the business that's closed at the moment? Ring around and see if the service side is open, even if limited. I have a feeling that Leeds OPC was going to try and maintain some element of the service part of the business, but that could have changed. Had the same problem when my dealer closed with no notice. I contacted Porsche UK and they told me that I should write to my dealer to state what had happened and to request a service at the earliest opportunity. They also confirmed that a future warranty claim would only be refused if the delayed service could be proved to have had an impact on the failure. Not ideal, so I’ve taken a photo of the mileage and have SORNed the car. Meanwhile my local Honda and Skoda dealers are still open and serving existing customers.

My OPC (Bournmouth) has totally closed for at least 3 weeks according to websiteAnyone know If an OPC is open in the North West, and if not any issues with warranty as I may not be able to get a service for some time ?
Contacted my OPC this morning and have been told that Porsche GB are allowing cars to be 10k miles or a year past the normal servicing point before it becomes an issue for warranty. They are allowing 45 days for warranty renewal which I guess may get extended if it has to. I had to work cars booked in for a couple of weeks time for their first two year service but now don’t have to worry about it.
