Coronavirus effect on modern classics

It seems that modern tin tops will suffer pretty big falls and to a lesser extent modern classics. At present I’m considering the purchase of a 2008-13 C6 Corvette.
Any views as to how much values might shift - I’m thinking 10-15%, maybe more?

I would expect a good deal more than that. If buying now, push for discounts in the 20-30% range to give you some protection.

Given that I've seen senior NHS officials on the TV News talking about 3 months and potentially 6 months of "lockdown" I'd wait a while!

After all it's not like you could use it much - unless you are a key worker.

I was ready to start looking at cars myself as I do not currently have a weekend car but following Government guidance can a used car private sale even take place at the moment? Viewing several cars of the same model for comparison, meeting with the owner and looking through paperwork, test driving, trying to book a pre purchase inspection... all would break social distances guidance and would not be considered absolutely necessary reasons to even leave the house. Unless you are a key worker and you’re suddenly without a vehicle I think the enthusiast car market is on hold until further notice...
