Anybody had any Royal Mail post this week?

Apologies if not the right place to ask.

Was awaiting some documents (sent out by work for me to work on, e-mail not permitted) which I have the tracking ref for but since last Friday the package has been at the local delivery hub.

No other post at all, which is unusual.

Tried to call RM local hub and town main office but no answers. Went to village post office but shut with sign to use the post office in the Bargain Booze in the next village!

Is it like this elsewhere or is this perhaps a case of unlucky "CV in the mail hub, quarantined mail?".

Van rocked up this afternoon and drops off the mail, also drops off the mail addressed to my shop which is currently closed. could not ask for more - wonderful service from RM.

Concerned me too. Had nothing Friday, a delivery on a Monday then nothing today or yesterday.

This is from a business perspective, so not a case of nothing to deliver. At home we’ve had about the same amount of junk as we’d normally see.

Yes, every day, real and junk mail remains unimpeded. In actuallity the postie is coming earlier than usual.

Hmm, must be a local issue.

Noticed all my Amazon Prime deliveries for my DIY jobs where furlucked have gone back to Sun 5th April even though there were some due today as well.

I haven't been out the house today and don't read the news. Perhaps our leafy grotto of lower Cheshire has been "socially distanced " the rest of the world (though from the sounds of boy racers and their fart cans on the bypass, probably not.

Bet it is the same delivery office.

Probably RM just socially distancing our householder then. Just odd, usually two / three personal letters a day, weekly work letter, shed loads of junk. Not even a latest Dominos offer.

Same as the other replies, yes. However, it is taking a day or two extra for an individual item to be received.

Normal service here, in fact slightly improved as the postie is getting around a lot earlier. Had mail nearly every day.

Edit. Forgot to say I posted a parcel on Monday and it arrived at it's destination this morning. Can't complain at that.

Yep, everyday except Sunday here in Dorset.

Post and packages are mega busy at the minute. Staff numbers are down due to people self isolating, distancing rules have been brought in meaning fewer workers in depots/sorting offices at the same time. All guarantees on before-12, next day, etc are off due to the issues.

Just going to have to be more patient. It’ll turn up soon enough.
