I've seen all these bands but too late
Discussion
See Fleetwood Mac at Wembley late 80s, 10 years too late tbh, I would've loved to see them on their 1980 tour, Springsteen at Wembley on the Born In The USA tour, 5 or 6 years to late imho, much rather seen him on The River tour around the 1980/81 time, going by clips his voice was better and looked like a rock star rather than the Born In The USA 'I'm on steroids tour', the Rolling Stones at Wembley late 90s, about 25 years too late, much rather seen them early 70s, Genesis on the Invisible Touch Tour late 80s again rather seen them on the Duke tour of 1980.
Anyone else feel the same regarding shows they've been to?
Some might say most of it, the happening scenes were grunge that peaked when I was in sec school and then nu-metal emerged, neither did that much for me I was more industrial/metal/punk/post punk/hard rock. Still seen a great number of fantastic gigs though, I guess because most of the bands I like, few hit that kind of megastardom, the scenes peaked and now play fairly small venues - whereas we love say metallica but didn't bother with £140/head at twic last time.
