Interesting things you’ve seen in your daily walk

Whether WFH, Furlough or who knows many of us are having a daily walk.

I’ve a number of routes I follow and have spotted a few unusual cars. Pics below. The thing for me is that when walking you really do see things you’d otherwise miss.

What other intriguingly interesting things have you seen?

First off an original Mitsubishi 3000gt. Had a great spec back in the day and much lusted after.



Toyota Supra TT. This looked very original and unmolested. Still a fine looking car at 25 years old.



Finally this pair. An S type ( I think) and a Daimler from the 80’s. I wonder who would’ve owned these originally

I did not see the Big Issue lady who normally scares the sh£t out of me by jumping in front of me at the local Costcutter whilst shouting BIG ISSUE in my face

AFAIK the Jag at the back is a Mark II. Mum's cousin has a classic S-Type, and the nose is far more upright.

Usually see a few pheasant, doves, the odd sparrowhawk and kestrel. Sometimes deer, muntjac and roe...

Look at the headlamp cowls and the lack of indicators on the tops of the wings - it's an S-Type...!

OK, I'll bow to your evidently better knowledge. I'll pull up a photo of his car off my work Facebook, and you can ID it. I had understood it to be an S Type.

Not a walk as such but a short drive to the post office yesterday ... I saw a fight between two young lads (late teens), one middle aged woman sat on the pavement sobbing away and 2 taxi drivers shouting and gesticulating at each other at a set of lights.

Seems like society is descending rapidly!

A Mk2 MR2 T-bar that looks well worth saving, still languishing where I first saw it about a year ago. I left a note of interest on the windscreen a few weeks ago but heard nothing.

I've not got any pictures, but I have noticed quite a few people have collections of very similar cars. I've seen the following collections:

Three 90s Mondeos
Three 90s Renault Clios
Four 80s Rollers
Four silver Range Rovers

Also seen a boat that was way too big to be parked outside a three bed house in suburban Bristol.

Sorry peeps, it's an S-Type. Dead giveaways: shallow bumper and no sidelight pods with plastic telltales
atop the front wings. The shape of the pressing aound the headlights differs too.

I’ve seen I think 3 motor homes parked on the road recently.

All new to the street.

It just seems unusual and I can’t think why.

Any sign of life?
Seriously though they get stolen, then put somewhere like a residential street in case they have trackers. If they are still there the scrotes take them to live in.
