Can my contract be changed after the Tupe announcement?

Hi, TUPE announcement was made a month ago and we were told the start date would be around June this year.

Due to the current virus situation, my current employer may ask me to work less hours or work on less salary.

I have few questions in mind;

1) Can current employer change the contract after TUPE announcement ?
2) Would i get the new reduced salary with the new employer in June if the the current employer decide to reduce it?
