Eskidavies had the good point today that olives would be very down the list of things he would eat even in the end times.

Personally for me the last thing on earth I would eat is ....

kidney beans.

Followed up at #2 with

Butter beans.

and at #3

Currents and / or sultanas in a scone

Arrggghhh.

What is the worst thing you imagine eating ?

(ignoring allergies ...)

I agree with the olives. Can't stand them but I really want to, especially the cheese or chilli stuffed versions.

Liver and kidney. (unless in a nice pate)

Beans of Al varieties that I've had to date I'm very happy with. I could probably live on a bean only diet.

I am a big fan of offal. Given that I still think I would/do have problems with tripe, brain and eye.

Pangolin. Apparently it tastes pretty good but can give you a nasty dry cough, make you unemployed and everyone give you a wide berth like you’re some sort of fking leper. Avoid.

I actually tried some of my own cooked flesh... properly set my hand alight and cooked part of it by accident, did had a chunk missing but overgrown now. Tasted pretty grim (didn't actually eat just sucked!) and just smelt or burning.

Guy I know who is a firefighter has confirmed cooked human does not smell like roast pork.

Maybe a slow roast.

About 15 years ago, my office building was about 1/2 mile from a local crematorium. I confirm it does indeed smell like roast pork.

As to the OP / thread topic: Ocra, tripe, pigs' trotters, animal brains (yes, they're sold in Luxembourg in the fresh meat section), I wouldn't eat.

As for dried fruit in scones, other offal like liver, kidneys, etc., laugh at you guys smile

It's funny people's reaction to foods, there is literally nothing (that I have come across) I hate. There are a few things I would choose not to eat, licorice & aniseed being two for example but if someone severed it to me I would eat it out of politeness, just wouldn't choose it.

I put it down to having a varied diet from when I started on solid food, my siblings are the same and I plan to introduce my little one to as much as possible when the time comes.

Quiche, and moussaka when it has a similar puffy texture.

Washed down with hot chocolate.

vomit

Both things I was forced to ingest against my will as a child.

I'd rather starve or die of thirst.
