I have a replacement gear lever and handbrake gaiter on order. Are they easy to fit. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you just take the trim panel off the tunnel and they fit in from underneath. The trim is held on with 2 screws, one under the ash tray and one through the rear air vent. The gear knob unscrews and the handbrake handle is held on with 2 small allen screws which you need to ease the trim back to expose.

it was not quite that simple when i took mine apart.
the gear lever will not usually come off without grips, which unless your very carefull will scratch and ruin it they did mine at tghe factory and put a new knob on. ive got the old one here its ruined. the gaitors appear to be sewn onto the carpeted insert so will probably need unpicking, but will probably glue back on ok

just been on ebay and there is a tuscan gear knob for sale, might be worth looking at incase you do ruin yours taking it off. buy it now for about £15 i think
