Anybody know where the road is that they always seem to drive on when testing cars or nice examples of what they are restoring? I know it's somewhere in Wales (road markings - ARAF means SLOW) but no idea where.

Looks like a great driving road and would love to check it out in my C63 !!!

Hope one of you can help.....

Could be the mountain road from Beaufort to Llangynidr and adjoining roads.

Could be completely wrong, but looks like the stretch of road from Penybontfawr to Bala?

Similar roads anyway.

I’d be surprised, I’ve done that route a fair few time and doesn’t look familiar. Worth a drive for Dragon Pizza van though!

It's the Black Mountain Pass - A4069 running north from Brynamman - as used in a multitude of features by Top Gear, Chris Harris, and various magazines over the years.

Not that road as I live there and would have recognised it.
