Convice me to keep my E64 630i and not get a Nissan 370z!
Discussion
Hello all!
So I've had a E64 630i for a while now and whilst i do enjoy it and love the N53 engine, love the looks, I feel the itch to get a 370Z again (I had one a couple of years ago and it was great but was a expensive thing to run!).
Anyway my situation has changed and I could get another 370Z comfortably this time but not sure if I should keep my E64 630i instead?
If you were in my position, what would you choose? Appreciate that they are 2 totally different cars. For me, 2 seats is fine..
Thoughts welcome please!

IMO ones a GT (the 630i is such a capable mile muncher and would suit crossing the continent perfectly), plus, as you said, the engine is brilliant and it’s a lovely place to be too.So I've had a E64 630i for a while now and whilst i do enjoy it and love the N53 engine, love the looks, I feel the itch to get a 370Z again (I had one a couple of years ago and it was great but was a expensive thing to run!).

The Z is also a superb car (I’ve always loved them, but a bit to snug for someone my size); for me, more of a weekend toy, B road hoonigan, but still a very capable car etc...
Really, getting to the bottom of it is it, depends what you really want out of your car.
I’ve pals that have gone through the Z’s and use their 370Z to go all over the country and into Europe etc, same with the E6x & say they’re a very capable car, but long distance comfort isn’t their best trait
I have a 370Z GT Roadster as an occasional/weekend car and I absolutely love it so they get a big thumbs up from me.
It rides and drives well and the engine feels nice and gutsy, but the engine isn't quite as smooth(especially right at the top of the revs) as some of the Bmw's I've had(E90 330i/Z4M Roadster for example).

I'll get hate for this no doubt, but I would never understand anyone picking a bmw saloon over all those other interesting cars that are available.
Eh?! Who's mentioned a BMW saloon?naturalaspiration said:
Is it just me who thinks the Nissan's interior looks beyond cheap?
No and I think that most see it that way in fairness. I'm not overly keen on mine either(it does feel well screwed together believe it or not though), and it feels less cheap and less bland than my 200SX interior was. Welshbeef said:
OP you’ll not be buying a car for some time - no one will.
Given that and furloughed or no job I’d say probably not the smartest of moves right now to be spending bucks rather holding cash is the smart move.
Fully agree with thisGiven that and furloughed or no job I’d say probably not the smartest of moves right now to be spending bucks rather holding cash is the smart move.
Although there are still plenty of knobbers currently trying to sell their cars on eBay/FB and clearly don't give 2 s
ts about the current lockdown or rule re unnecessary travel
