Is it just me or is it incredibly disrespectful for the media to be filming or taking pictures of the funerals of those who have died from covid-19

I was reading a news article about the 13 year old who died from covid 19 and how the immediate family was unable to attend due to showing symptoms. However I was also thinking it seems disrespectful for media and news organizations to be filming and taking pictures of the funeral especially under such distressing circumstances

It is, but the media have no shame.

especially as they are limiting the number of people who can attend the funeral.

"Sorry Mrs smith your grandson who adored his granddad can't attend the funeral, oh by the way, there will be a TV crew at your husbands funeral"

The media know no shame. If they were to do the decent thing, film it for the family not profit from it publicly.

I was out working today and a hearse slowly went by with a coffin on board to the crematorium just up the road,it was the only vehicle on the road at the time with no sign of any mourners vehicles following,i thought how sad it was and gave a slight nod of respect.

I WhatsApped a friend in NYC, and told her that save for funerals, all gatherings, (religious) are banned here, she said that in New York, no mourners are allowed to attend funerals.
I didn’t press her, but I’m guessing that at least a wife/husband would be allowed to be at his/her spouse funeral.
