Hi All

Annoyingly it seems like potentially my drivers door has dropped. I've has the car 16 months and haven't had any issues with the door previously.

Door was stiff to open and seems to have rubbed on the drivers front wing causing it to bend outward.

Can anyone advise how I could potentially adjust and whether this could be sorted with PDR?

Drivers side

PAX side.

Mine is also starting to drop on the drivers side but thankfully nowhere near as bad as that. If you pm me your email I'll forward you the instructions I received (although I haven't done it yet as I don't really want to disturb the painted bolts unless absolutely necessary)

I don't know how to change the setting I'm afraid. In essence though if you look at the door hinge there are two large painted bolts that can be loosened to allow adjustment. This is how the factory/dealer correct the alignment on new cars

That said, given that this appears to be a wear issue rather than the doors being out of alignment from the factory, my guess is that the issue probably lies in the hinge pins rather than the brackets. As I say, I've yet to look at mine but I'd check the pins before playing around with the brackets

Hi I have a customer's car that does this, the bolts holding the door to the hinge keep coming undone.

The hinges have started to wear, but it has done 140,000 miles.

Is it the hinge pins that are coming loose or the painted bolts holding the brackets?

Hi the bolts that come loose, ate the 10 mm headed ones.
They come loose and sometimes fallout.

If u look at the A post part of the hinge, which is welded to the A post, the door side of the hinge drops onto a taper, then the bolts just hold it all together.
