I've read through the pages and can't find anyone with this issue.

The car: 2011 Vantage V8

My local dealer said my TPS needed changed, I hadn't had any issues with them on the dash either. I hadn't been happy with their service and they went bust so I took it to a trust worthy independent garage who changed them for me.

Now I get errors:
Most often once the car has started driving for around 3-5 minutes the error pops up, sometimes not at all.
It's normally the front right sensor, but on occasion it's one of the others or multiple.
The error either shows an exclamation mark or reads all the pressures correctly but thinks there's an error.
Sometimes one of the back tyres shows 75psi, then drops to the correct pressure (around 36).

I'm guessing there's some kind of fault with the car side of things rather than the sensors, which have all been checked.

Is there anything else I can do?

Many thanks
Scott

I also have a 2011 N420, I changed mine because of low battery in May last year, all good, but a couple times during winter I had similar errors popping up too. I decided it was because of the cold, the sensor might lose connection for a second hence the registered error.

Was it cold when it happened to you? And are the batteries still good?

Thanks for the reply.

It was December I had them fitted but the problem still persists now. The garage that fitted them had another go at them, it's a 3rd party specialist who does the TPS that they have worked with. They replaced the front right unit (I believe just the one) and the issue still seems the same.

Difficult to say then. I also noticed that sensors are more prone to light up the dash if you left the car un-driven for a long time, but this is actually what they are supposed to do, to alert you of a (albeit small) loss of pressure.

As far as I know, there should not be pairing or reinitialising procedures with the latest Beru system. Maybe pulling the relevant fuse might reset it? Worth a try!

Another thing you might want to try: maybe through an OBD reader you can find more info about the error? Not sure if it's registered there though.

Yeah I'd thought about pulling the fuse, i'll need to have a dig and see which one is correct. Bloody annoying things, I'd rather just not have them!

The car is used daily, although not so much just now weirdly wink
