Hey everyone, look at my new thing I got to play with while we’re not allowed to go anywhere:

Messed about a bit with it a fair bit but rarely document it but hoping to start. Did take a picture of my removal of awful light tints along with my additional tints (reverse lights) and numerplater sorting however:

More to follow..

Yes please! Looks much smarter with the red lights! Keep us posted, and show us under the hood too.

I've got a lot of love for the C5, tells us more. I think these are exceptional value for their performance and charisma.

Just your standard fare, LS1 attached to their absolutely tragic 4 speed speed box. 47k on the clock and only cost £12k. 350/350 or thereabouts on the power and torque front. Seems to be either you cruise around or it drops two cogs (given its eagerness to short shift straight into fourth) and breaks traction and goes wild. The whole car is ‘so st it’s kind of amusing’, I love it. Kinda weird dimensions, very wide but with a relatively short wheelbase. Probably slower than my diesel 5 series, which admittedly is 320hp but still, and makes much more noise but it’s all in good fun. I had a Vantage as a toy last year and I think I prefer this at more than half the price.

Removed 20 years of swirls this afternoon and she’s looking a lot better for it. Actually black now rather than an off grey. GM paint seems super soft so I’ll have to avoid the local Romanians if I can help it.

Gave it a wee wash today as I’ll probably need to sell it later in the summer for a house purchase. It’ll be on Classifieds in due course but if anyone’s interested give me a shout. Didn’t have time for a polish but Megs Quik Wax does a good job and since it was machine polished it’s not seen any local hand washes so still sitting pretty...
