I like the adverts..... allows me to dream,..I stopped being a subscriber to this and the other main monthly classic car magazine when I realised they were generally full of not content, just adverts.
I do miss the content, though. They spend so long saying the history of the marque/model/ what watch they are wearing if its octane/what Quentin says will definently make me money in 2020, they never say what they are like to drive. Or which is the better car
to drive. They dont seems to have much immagination these days.
I think in Classic & Sportscars case the tests are done using a selection of cars owned by Joe Public or something exotic that is heading for a forthcoming auction. Other times it is something worthy from a dealers ( or advertisers stock) either way it unlikely to be exercised too hard.
Have you tried Ready?
You get access to most of the UK motoring mags , including around 3 years of back issues for £7.99 a month.
There's even an offer on at present, you can try it for 2 months for free.
I love it

I used Zinio a couple of years ago, but didn't get on with the digital format. Often, magazines use pull quotes, callouts and boxes and if you can only see a single page at a time, it makes it more difficult (for me) to read the article in a fluid manner. You get access to most of the UK motoring mags , including around 3 years of back issues for £7.99 a month.

But if it's free, I might give Readly another go...
