I was looking at Dominic's website to see if he had anything of interest, and I noticed the two lady's Ebel watches which looked nice and which offered a substantial saving on RRP.

I was tempted to buy one for my sister for her birthday, later in the year.

I'm not buying it as an investment, so resale value isn't a consideration, but is there anything I should be aware of?

Thanks.

They’re a nice brand, part of LVMH and broadly similar to Tag Heuer in movement quality with well finished case/bracelets.
Poor resale values, but expected if you’re purchasing expensive quartz watches and if it’s not an issue for you then otherwise I’d rate them highly.
Late 90’s/early 00’s I was a brand ambassador. They got me very, very drunk on a few occasions. laugh

Thanks - Dom is selling at 50% of RRP, so from that point of view it seems good value.

Haven’t been part of LVMH for quite some time – part of MGI Luxury Group which includes Movado, Concord, and licenced fashion/designer brands like Ferrari, Lacoste, Boss, Hilfiger. Recently acquired British fashion brand Olivia Burton.

A much overlooked brand however, spares like bracelet links, etc, can still be quite pricy.

Happy to stand corrected! Great buy OP, especially with a hefty reduction.. pics when it arrives!

I'm afraid it was sent straight to my sister (she's very pleased!), but pics are here:
